Office of Archives and Records

Welcome to the Catholic Diocese of Peoria Archives Office

April 14 , 2005

On July 1, 2002 , one hundred and twenty-seven years after the Catholic Diocese of Peoria was established, the Archives Office was established.

Due to staff and material constraints, the Archives Office is not yet open for public visitors, but if you write we will attempt to answer your reference queries in a timely manner.

If this is your first visit to this site, we encourage you to view the "Overview of Information" for an overview of the work of the Archives Office.

Thank you,

Monsignor Paul E. Showalter, Vicar General
