Christ the King Retreat Center
King's House, founded in 1962 by the Missionary Oblates of Mary Immaculate, is directed by the Catholic Diocese of Peoria. We offer members of all faiths a setting and atmosphere for experiencing the reality of God's love for them.
This picturesque and modern air-conditioned facility is located high above the east bank of the Illinois River, with a panoramic view of the river valley. It is surrounded by 50 acres of woods. Christ the King shrine, a Marian shrine, and Stations of the Cross are around the property for prayer and meditation.
