Why did you become a seminarian?
The priesthood has been on my heart for quite some time. Shortly after my confirmation, I prayed for an increase in vocations, and God surprised me by speaking directly to my heart: “You!” Over time, I set this call aside, until my sophomore year of high school, when I was invited to visit the seminary. On that trip, I fell deeply in love with God and His Bride, the Church, and began seriously discerning a vocation to the priesthood. The inspiration and encouragement I received from holy priests played a pivotal role in my journey, helping me recognize that one of the greatest gifts I could offer the Father was my youth.

What did you do before seminary?

I attended Alleman Catholic High School, where I was involved in several student organizations and played varsity golf. I also worked several jobs, including for the city parks and recreation department and at a grocery store.

An interesting fact about you:

I grew up in a small town of only 500 people in the country. Also, I started serving Mass before my first communion when I was eight.
