Why did you become a seminarian?
During a semester abroad, in the churches of Madrid, I found rest and comfort for my heart. Every Mass I attended, something deep within me wanted to hold on to Jesus forever. It was as if my heart was burning for Him; to do something different and great for Him. At the thought of being a priest, God gave me great peace, but also something like a child's excitement. Starting this journey to become a priest has given me so much peace and more joy than I have ever had before.
What did you do before seminary?
Before seminary, I was pursuing a degree in Health Sciences at Saint Louis University to become an Orthopedic Physician Assistant.
An interesting fact about you:
During my last semester at SLU, I studied abroad in Spain. I had the opportunity to travel to 10 different countries, including the Vatican City.
