Ways to Support Your Priests

Convocation is a sacred time for your priests to step away from the demands of parish life and be renewed - spiritually, emotionally, and physically. You can help make this time of renewal possible.

1. Pray: Keep your priests in your prayers - that Convocation may be a time of grace, renewal, and encouragement for each of them.

2. Encourage: Let your priest know you want them to participate. A word of encouragement reminds him that it’s okay to step away for a few days to be renewed.

3. Affirm: Write a note of gratitude or encouragement to your priest. Your words can uplift and strengthen him more than you know.

4. Give: Help defray the cost of Convocation by making a gift or becoming a sponsor. Your generosity helps create a peaceful, restorative experience for your priests.
